After School Code Club @ The Hewett Centre

We are excited to be launching a free after school Code Club at the Hewett Centre in Term 1 2020. 

The Club will run for 7 weeks in Term 1 2020, from 3:30pm until 4:30pm, starting on Tuesday February 11th and finishing on Tuesday March 24th.

The age range for the Code Club is 7-13.

The Code Club is a progressive program in which each weeks learning builds on what has come before. The children who attend will use the program Scratch to code their own games, animations and more. 

Scratch has been specially designed and built by the MIT to get children coding. For more information on Scratch please see here

This is a free program provided by the Light Regional Library Service. 

Spaces are strictly limited to guarentee a quality experience for all those involved. 

Should the Club be booked out please add your details to the waitlist through Eventbrite as if we have enough interest we will look to run a second club directly after this one from 4:45pm – 5:45pm.
