King of the Outback – Author & Illustrator talk

May is History Month and to celebrate, we’re excited to present author Kristin Weidenbach and illustrator Tim Ide, who will both be joining us upstairs at the Kapunda Library (Thomson Building, 53 Main Street, Kapunda) to talk about their children’s picture book ‘King of the Outback‘ on Sunday 5 May 2019.

Why not come along and listen to Kristin and Tim between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm as they talk about their journey researching the life of Sir Sidney Kidman for this wonderful book?

‘King of the Outback’ is an engaging children’s picture book that explores the life of the extraordinary ‘Cattle King’. Through their research, Kristin and Tim have created an accurate portrayal of Kidman’s life, reflecting not only the man but the historic clothing and buildings of his era as well.
